Job Summary

To support the online Master of Biomedical Science program, the part-time Adjunct Faculty in Medical Ethics will provide expert instruction, guide student learning, and facilitate a positive educational environment while engaging with the online course portal and responding to student inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Providing expert knowledge in Medical Ethics and facilitating class instruction through regular engagement in the online course portal
• Guiding students through their educational experience and ensuring adherence to the commitment to student success
• Responding to student inquiries within 24 hours and hosting weekly virtual office hours

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field; PhD preferred
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience in medical ethics, bioethics, or related content within health professions education
• Experience teaching online in an academic setting with a strong commitment to student engagement
• Expertise in using the Brightspace/D2L Learning Management system
• Desire to motivate and encourage students in academic and professional settings
