Adjunct Faculty - Medical Information Technology

Job Summary

To support the Medical Information Technology program, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Medical Information Technology will plan and deliver instruction, evaluate student performance, and collaborate with faculty and staff in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute instructional activities, including preparing lesson plans and learning materials
• Provide theoretical and practical instruction to students in the assigned course area
• Evaluate and supervise students, maintaining records and reporting on their progress

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related or medical/health care-related field, or
• Associate degree in a Medical Information Technology-related field with 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in settings such as physician offices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or third-party billing companies
