Adjunct Faculty - Online Instruction

Job Summary

To support the National Defense University, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Online Instruction will deliver graduate-level online courses in cybersecurity and related fields, facilitating student engagement and maintaining academic standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver graduate-level online instruction using Government-approved learning management systems
• Facilitate engaging, student-centered learning experiences in asynchronous online environments
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback while maintaining instructional continuity

Required qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant discipline; doctoral degree preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in applicable subject matter areas
• Experience teaching or facilitating graduate-level education or comparable adult learning environments
• Experience using online learning management systems such as Blackboard
• Ability to work independently while meeting academic schedules and administrative deadlines
