Job Summary
To support the online programs, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Organic Chemistry will provide expert instruction in Organic Chemistry I, guide students through their educational experiences, and engage with the online course portal while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Providing expert knowledge in Organic Chemistry I and facilitating class instruction
- Guiding students and responding to inquiries within 24 hours
- Hosting virtual office hours and engaging with the online course portal a minimum of five times per week
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum of three years teaching experience in Organic Chemistry
- Experience teaching online and developing curriculum
- Familiarity with the Brightspace/D2L Learning Management system preferred
- Passion for motivating and encouraging students in academic settings
