Adjunct Faculty - Organic Chemistry II

Job Summary

To support the online learning environment, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Organic Chemistry II will provide expert instruction in Organic Chemistry II lecture and lab, guiding students through their educational experiences while ensuring timely communication and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Providing expert and graduate-level knowledge in Organic Chemistry II
• Facilitating class instruction and engaging in the online course portal a minimum of 5 times per week
• Hosting a minimum of one hour of virtual office hours per week to support student inquiries

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field; PhD preferred
• A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Organic Chemistry
• Experience teaching online and expertise in curriculum development and assessment
• Desire to motivate and encourage students in academic and professional settings
• Familiarity with the Brightspace/D2L Learning Management system preferred
