Adjunct Faculty - Yoga Studies

Job Summary

To teach the online undergraduate and graduate course REL634E: Hindu Tantra, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - History & Philosophy of Yoga will manage course instruction, assess student progress, and provide feedback while maintaining office hours for student support.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct students online, assess progress, and assign grades in accordance with the syllabus
• Provide weekly online office hours and be available for student appointments
• Complete required faculty trainings and maintain a professional team environment

Required qualifications

• MA, MDIV, or Doctoral degree in Yoga Studies, Religious Studies with a focus in Yoga Studies, or a related field (Doctoral degree preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Yoga Studies
• Ability to foster a conducive learning environment and maintain professionalism during online classes
• Commitment to co-create a diverse and inclusive community and engage in related professional development
• Strong understanding of contemplative educational approaches
