Adjunct GIS Technology Instructor

Job Summary

To support effective teaching in GIS Technology, the part-time Adjunct GIS Technology Instructor will develop instructional materials, evaluate student learning, and teach college-level courses both in-person and online, with potential remote work options available within certain states.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and revise instructional materials for GIS courses and labs
• Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate student records
• Teach assigned classes, including day, evening, weekend, and online formats

Required qualifications

• Minimum of a high school degree or equivalent; an Associate Degree in GIS Technology or related field preferred
• At least five years of experience in GIS, with documentation of satisfactory performance
• Prior teaching experience is preferred
• Experience with traditional, hybrid, and online teaching methods
• Access to a personal computer, internet, and phone for communication with students
