Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adjunct Instructor/Developer in Computer Networks & Communications for their Online Education department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate courses in computer networks and communications
  • Explain and compare various transmission media and data encoding schemes
  • Evaluate WAN and LAN technologies and Internet protocols

Required Qualifications:
  • PhD in Computer Science, Math, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline preferred, or a Master's Degree with substantial experience in computer networks and communication
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP protocols, data link control, multiplexing techniques, and circuit switching issues
  • Ability to compare and evaluate different transmission media and WAN/LAN technologies
  • Familiarity with Internet protocols
