Job Summary
A company is looking for Adjunct Instructors in Environmental Science and Climate Change.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses in Environmental Science, Climate Change, and related subjects
- Teach courses asynchronously with an average of 20 students per course
- Provide timely feedback and engage in Discussion Board tasks while maintaining responsiveness to students
Required Qualifications
- Possess a terminal degree (e.g., PhD) in environmental science, climate science, or a related discipline, or a master's degree with relevant professional experience
- Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
- Experience teaching adult learners and/or in an online context is preferred
