Job Summary
A company is looking for Adjunct Instructors in Environmental Storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses in Environmental Storytelling and related subjects
- Teach courses asynchronously to an average of 20 students per course
- Provide timely feedback and engage in Discussion Board tasks while being responsive to students
Required Qualifications
- Possess a terminal degree (PhD, MFA) in environmental communication, journalism, storytelling, or a related field, or a master's degree with professional experience
- Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
- Experience teaching adult learners and/or in an online context is preferred
