Job Summary
To support the Gillings School of Global Public Health, the part-time Adjunct Instructor in Public Health will facilitate weekly live online sessions, grade assessments, and maintain communication with students and faculty while adhering to a standardized course syllabus.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly live online class sessions discussing self-paced learning modules
- Grade student assessments and provide timely feedback
- Maintain regular communication with lead faculty and respond to student inquiries
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in public health or a related field; PhD preferred
- Significant work and/or teaching experience related to the course being taught
- Experience in public health practice or research
- Strong writing skills with experience in providing feedback on assignments
- Ability to effectively manage group discussions
