Job Summary
Teaching live, online, synchronous and asynchronous class sessions, the part-time Adjunct Instructor - North Carolina will follow a standardized syllabus, engage students in discussions, provide feedback, and support student learning through regular office hours.
Key responsibilities
- Follow a standardized course syllabus and utilize pre-developed instructional materials
- Engage class members in discussions and help students apply knowledge to real-world problems
- Provide feedback on assignments and maintain communication with the Division Chair regarding student experiences
Required qualifications
- Earned doctorate or terminal degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated strong communication skills for managing group discussions
- Experience providing written feedback on assignments
- Degree and experience in the relevant discipline
- Significant work or teaching experience related to the course being taught is preferred
