Adjunct Instructor of Science and Math

Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time adjunct instructor for Life Science, Physical Science, or General Mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine fully asynchronous online courses using inclusive pedagogy and authentic assessments
• Engage adult learners through timely communication and provide constructive feedback to support student success
• Align assessments to course outcomes and participate in course reviews for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in the teaching discipline or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in the discipline taught
• Demonstrated experience teaching online or to adult learners, preferably in asynchronous modalities
• For science instructors, experience designing and teaching online labs using virtual simulations
• Experience aligning courses to IGETC outcomes is preferred
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, preferably Canvas
