Job Summary

A company is looking for Adjunct Instructors in Marine Biology and Sustainable Aquaculture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses in Marine Biology, Sustainable Aquaculture, and related subjects
  • Teach courses asynchronously to an average of 20 students per course
  • Provide timely feedback, engage in Discussion Board tasks, and respond to student inquiries
Required Qualifications
  • Possess a terminal degree (e.g., PhD) in marine biology, aquaculture, or a related discipline, or a master's degree with relevant professional experience
  • Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
  • Experience teaching adult learners and/or in an online context is preferred
