Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Adjunct Neurobiology Instructor, this remote position will facilitate engagement in online undergraduate courses related to Human Anatomy & Physiology for Psychology and Neuroscience of Place, ensuring timely feedback and student interaction in a 5-week course format.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate asynchronous online courses for an average of 20 undergraduate students
- Provide timely feedback and engage with students through Discussion Board tasks
- Contribute to the institution's values, sustainability efforts, and student success initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Terminal degree (PhD) in neurobiology, health psychology, biopsychology, cognitive science, or a related field, or a master's degree with significant professional experience
- Experience teaching adult learners and/or in an online context
- Proficiency in using digital tools and Learning Management Systems, such as Canvas
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
