Adjunct Neurobiology Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Adjunct Neurobiology Instructor, this remote position will facilitate engagement in online undergraduate courses related to Human Anatomy & Physiology for Psychology and Neuroscience of Place, ensuring timely feedback and student interaction in a 5-week course format.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitate asynchronous online courses for an average of 20 undergraduate students
• Provide timely feedback and engage with students through Discussion Board tasks
• Contribute to the institution's values, sustainability efforts, and student success initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Terminal degree (PhD) in neurobiology, health psychology, biopsychology, cognitive science, or a related field, or a master's degree with significant professional experience
• Experience teaching adult learners and/or in an online context
• Proficiency in using digital tools and Learning Management Systems, such as Canvas
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
