Adjunct Philosophy Professor

Job Summary

Seeking an Adjunct Philosophy Professor for an online academic position, the successful candidate will teach Introduction to Philosophy and/or Introduction to Logic survey classes, ensuring adherence to departmental guidelines while providing quality access and evaluation for students.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize course syllabi and follow established departmental and institutional guidelines for course delivery
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback through various communication methods
• Maintain professional relationships with students and colleagues while submitting necessary paperwork promptly

Required qualifications

• MA or PhD in Philosophy
• Preferred teaching experience in higher education
• Ability to teach survey courses in alignment with the University's Christian mission and values
