Job Summary
To support the academic mission, the part-time Adjunct Physics Instructor will be responsible for teaching college-level physics courses and labs, developing instructional materials, and evaluating student learning, with the potential for remote or hybrid work within certain states.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and revise instructional materials for physics courses and labs
- Evaluate student learning and maintain accurate student records
- Teach day, evening, weekend, and online classes as assigned, while holding office hours for student support
Required qualifications
- Master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in a relevant field from an accredited institution
- Prior teaching experience is preferred
- Experience with traditional, hybrid, and online course formats
- Ability to use the Learning Management System (Canvas) and other technology platforms
- Access to home internet, a personal computer, and a telephone
