Job Summary
Seeking passionate educators, the part-time Adjunct Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Instructor will facilitate engagement in asynchronous, online undergraduate courses focused on sea turtle rehabilitation, providing timely feedback and support to an average of 20 students per course.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses in Sea Turtle Rehabilitation
- Provide timely feedback and maintain active participation in Discussion Board tasks
- Ensure responsiveness to student inquiries and support throughout the course
Required qualifications
- Terminal degree (e.g., PhD) in marine science, biology, veterinary medicine, wildlife health, zoology, or related discipline, or a master's degree with significant professional experience
- Research or professional experience working with sea turtles, with direct experience in sea turtle rehabilitation preferred
- Proficiency in operating a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college
