Job Summary
To support the Sportscasting Bachelor of Science program, the part-time Adjunct Sportscasting Faculty will teach various aspects of sportscasting, including television history, language, and production techniques, while engaging with students both online and on-campus, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Create a student-centered learning environment through effective teaching and updated curriculum
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies and assess student outcomes through assignments and feedback
- Conduct lectures and virtual meetings, ensuring positive interaction with a diverse student population
Required qualifications:
- A minimum of four years of relevant work experience in broadcasting or a related field
- A Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- Proficiency in software programs such as MS Office and video editing tools like Adobe Premiere
- Experience in television, radio, or digital production with knowledge of anchoring and voice-over techniques
