Job Summary
To support the Government Department, the full-time Administrative & Fiscal Coordinator will manage financial operations, assist with budget planning, and facilitate administrative processes for faculty and staff in an onsite role.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the department's funding sources by verifying accounting entries and maintaining budget tracking spreadsheets
- Work with the department Chair to establish administrative goals and priorities, focusing on budget tracking
- Conduct grant accounting and provide pre- and post-award assistance, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of fiscal administration and procurement policies
- Ability to learn and effectively use productivity systems and applications for fiscal reporting
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional interactions with faculty and students
