Admission Counselor

Job Summary

Enrolling students into Undergraduate and Graduate degree programs, the full-time remote Admission Counselor I will manage inquiries through various channels, assist students through the enrollment process, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct phone interviews with prospective students to evaluate their needs and provide program information
• Engage with students via phone, email, and other communication methods while adhering to compliance and ethical standards
• Partner with departments such as Financial Aid and Advising to facilitate a smooth admission process for students

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or completed college coursework; equivalent experience may be considered
• At least 1 year of relevant sales or customer service experience in a consultative role
• Flexibility to work either Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday
• Must reside in an approved state within the Central, Eastern, Mountain, or Pacific time zones
• Strong understanding of relationship building and pipeline management
