Job Summary
To support timely access to quality care, the full-time hourly Admissions Coordinator will manage inbound and outbound referrals, assess client needs, and guide them through the intake process while working remotely within the EST time zone.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients and referring providers, managing referrals and ensuring timely follow-up
- Educate clients and referral partners on Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs, utilizing consultative selling techniques
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, clearly explaining coverage and payment options to reduce financial barriers to admission
Required qualifications
- Must be based in EST
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in intake and admissions in a healthcare provider organization
- Comfortable with technology, including CRM and EMR platforms
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to handle objections in high-call environments
