Job Summary
A company is looking for an Admissions Specialist I to manage admissions inquiries and support families seeking care.
Key Responsibilities
- Field admissions inquiries and document relevant data into the EMR software
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure patients meet admissions criteria and maintain relationships with referring providers
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance while ethically relating to patients and families throughout the admissions process
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in mental health admissions or a sales-related role
- Degree in psychology, business administration, or a health-related field preferred
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and key analytical abilities
- Excellent organizational awareness and adaptability
- Spanish speaker preferred
