Job Summary

Supporting vital Medicaid services, the fully remote Advanced Programmer will maintain and enhance mission-critical production systems using MVS COBOL and CA-ADS while collaborating with cross-functional teams on diverse projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with MMIS and MEDS teams to implement coding changes in Cobol and CA-ADS programs within IDMS databases
• Debug, unit test, and integrate code changes to ensure reliability and performance
• Support QA, User Acceptance, and External Testing by executing timely code adjustments

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in mainframe environments
• Extensive background (10+ years) in MVS COBOL, IDMS, and CA-ADS programming
• Proficient with JCL (5+ years)
• High school diploma and 10+ years of relevant computer systems development
