Advanced Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Advanced Systems Engineer will define, model, analyze, and validate complex system architectures for next-generation underwater defense systems while leveraging advanced digital engineering methodologies and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts and system models
• Analyze and resolve system design weaknesses and performance gaps
• Support requirements development, decomposition, traceability, and validation activities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, MBSE, or related technical disciplines (or 3+ years with a Master's degree)
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or related STEM field
• 3+ years of experience performing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities
• 3+ years of experience developing system models using Cameo Systems Modeler or similar MBSE tools
• 2+ years of experience supporting complex system design, integration, validation, or testing efforts
