Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient engagement initiatives, the remote Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist will establish partnerships with rare and chronic disease advocacy groups, identify patients and caregivers for story-sharing opportunities, and contribute content to online media platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with patients and caregivers while adhering to HIPAA privacy guidelines
• Identify and source prospective patient candidates through various online channels and social media platforms
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve recruitment processes and ensure timely communication of updates

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Experience with Salesforce for data collection and patient tracking
• Strong writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
• Valid driver's license; a passport may be necessary in some instances
