Advocacy Relations Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Advocacy Relations Director for Thyroid Eye Disease (TED).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of a TED advocacy strategy focused on raising disease awareness and supporting diagnosis
• Cultivate partnerships with TED advocacy organizations, patients, and caregivers to ensure community needs are prioritized
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to amplify patient voices and develop programs that enhance understanding of TED

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of patient advocacy and/or healthcare policy experience, or
• Master's degree and 7 years of patient advocacy and/or healthcare policy experience, or
• Bachelor's degree and 9 years of patient advocacy and/or healthcare policy experience
• 7+ years of experience with patient advocacy groups, particularly in rare disease communities
• Strong understanding of the engagement dynamics within rare disease patient communities
