Job Summary
Seeking a Sr. Aerospace Systems Dynamics and Control Engineer for a 6-12 month contract position that can be onsite or remote, responsible for developing system-level control architectures, leading control logic formulation, and serving as the primary technical point of contact for clients on control architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage the program's system control architecture, including dynamic and transient thermal analysis and controls verification
- Identify and manage technical risks related to system controls while coordinating with internal and external resources
- Work closely with Systems Engineers and other disciplines to optimize system design and ensure successful program execution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5 to 10 years of experience in aerospace engineering, particularly in designing and analyzing control systems
- Strong knowledge of aerospace technical disciplines, including requirements management and verification methodologies
- Expertise in dynamic modeling of thermal management systems and control law development
- Proficiency in coding/scripting, preferably in MATLAB or Python, and experience with Simulink
