Job Summary
Owning a portfolio of aerospace and defense accounts, the full-time Strategic Account Director will sell production contracts and capacity agreements while navigating the defense ecosystem and building relationships with supply chain leaders in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a book of strategic aerospace and defense accounts from initial conversation to signed contract
- Sell Jiga's solutions, including production contracts and supplier-of-record relationships, to key decision-makers
- Develop and maintain relationships with supply chain and procurement leaders, shaping deal structures with company leadership
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in sales within aerospace and defense manufacturing
- Established network of contacts, including supply chain VPs and operations leaders at Tier 1/2 suppliers and defense tech companies
- Proven track record of closing $1M+ production contracts or equivalent enterprise deals
- Familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100, ITAR, and DFARS specialty metals
- Must be a US citizen based in the US with the ability to obtain a security clearance
