Aerospace Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer for a part-time role focused on MRB support for aircraft structural and mechanical systems, this position offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement and involves maintaining product non-conformities and supporting engineering processes to ensure compliance with certification regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional analysis for product non-conformities based on design criteria and certification documents
• Interface with internal and external engineering teams for non-conformity analysis and present dispositions to authorities
• Support design and analysis using CAE tools and recommend process improvements to reduce MRB

Required qualifications

• 25+ years of experience in the gas turbine industry
• BS/B.Tech in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel
• US citizenship required due to the nature of the work
