Aerospace Material Review Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Aerospace Material Review Engineer, the qualified candidate will analyze product specifications and existing production processes, coordinate technical resolutions for non-conformances, and ensure compliance with engineering standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze product specifications and develop new production processes to meet quality and cost standards
• Coordinate technical resolutions for documented non-conformances on engine components through collaboration with engineering teams
• Conduct comprehensive investigations and provide engineering technical dispositions for non-conforming materials

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 10-15 years of aerospace, aircraft structure, or design experience
• MRB Certified with a strong understanding of Material Review Board requirements and procedures
• Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards
• Experience interpreting manufacturing drawings and familiarity with engine design and assembly processes
• Knowledge of aerospace design and aircraft structure, including familiarity with blueprints
