Aerospace Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a REMOTE Aerospace Mechanical Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops/modifies 3D CAD parts/assemblies and 2D drawings
• Collaborates with the lead engineer to keep informed of task progress and provides technical support
• Reviews and comprehends engineering drawings and incorporates design solutions into existing documentation

Required Qualifications

• AS Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of aerospace experience and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) and experience with feature-based CAD systems
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or CATIA V5
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work performed
