Aerospace Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Aerospace Systems Engineer, the full-time remote position will lead systems engineering activities across the complete system lifecycle, translating operational needs into technical requirements and supporting the integration of commercial space capabilities for the Joint Commercial Operations Cell (JCO) mission.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead systems engineering activities including requirements development, integration, verification, and transition to operations
- Translate operational mission needs into technical requirements to ensure alignment with mission priorities
- Support system-of-systems integration across government, commercial, and partner organizations
Required qualifications:
- 15+ years of professional Systems Engineering experience
- Minimum 5 years supporting aerospace, space systems, satellite operations, and defense programs
- Aerospace domain knowledge with familiarity in space operations, orbital mechanics, and satellite systems
- Experience performing systems engineering throughout the entire Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field required
