Aerospace Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the development of advanced aerospace systems, the remote contract Sr Aerospace Systems Engineer will focus on architecture, design, and requirements in alignment with ARP4754A while contributing to verification and validation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align system architecture and design with ARP4754A standards
• Contribute to verification and validation (V&V) efforts for aerospace systems
• Implement and support DevOps CI/CD pipelines and lead team initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace, Computer Science, or a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineering
• Familiarity with software development and the DO-178 certification process (DAL D to DAL B)
• Experience with communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, SPI, and I2C
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Clearance
