Affiliate Faculty in Criminology
Job Summary
To support the Criminology Department, the part-time Affiliate Faculty in Criminology will teach a minimum of six credit hours, engage in academic-related assignments, and fulfill additional duties as assigned, all in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Teach a minimum of six credit hours of instruction or equivalent academic assignments
- Perform additional academic-related assignments, including committee work and program learning outcome assessment
- Fulfill additional duties as determined by the Department Chair
Required qualifications
- A minimum of a master's degree in criminal justice, criminology, or a closely related field from a regionally-accredited institution
- Prior undergraduate teaching experience
- Experience teaching in an online/asynchronous environment
- Experience with program learning outcome assessment
- Undergraduate faculty mentoring experience preferred
