Africa Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Africa Coordinator, Forest Governance Media Initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project oversight and strategic planning for activities in Liberia, Cameroon, and Ghana
• Plan and manage logistics for virtual and in-person training workshops for African journalists
• Develop and maintain relationships with regional experts in forest governance and facilitate collaboration with local media

Required Qualifications

• Minimum three years' prior work experience in a relevant area (media, environment, biodiversity, etc.)
• Experience working in or understanding the media context in Liberia, Cameroon, and Ghana
• Experience with project administration and/or coordination
• Good network of journalists and media organizations in Africa, ideally across the three target countries
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
