After Hours Imaging Specialist

Job Summary

To support the radiology team, the part-time After Hours Imaging Workflow Specialist will manage the imaging workflow for emergent studies from 6pm to 5am MST, assisting Radiologists by handling phone inquiries, retrieving and sending images, and ensuring timely report delivery to referring facilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor multi-system imaging transfers and manage requisitions and report turnaround between hospitals and the radiology center
• Coordinate data flow with Radiologists and act as a liaison with facilities to ensure quality control and performance monitoring
• Resolve service issues by clarifying customer complaints and providing effective solutions while maintaining data security protocols

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in customer service principles and practices required
• Experience with PACs preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong planning and analytical skills for effective decision-making
