After Hours Patient Representative

Job Summary

To support patient services, the part-time After Hours Patient Representative will communicate with patients to schedule prescribed procedures, perform clerical duties, and assist with insurance pre-certification remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately gather and enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the database
• Resolve scheduling issues regarding procedures and efficiently coordinate patient schedules
• Provide counseling to patients regarding pre-service requirements and instructions

Required qualifications

• High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable job-specific experience
• Medical Assistant background preferred
• Experience scheduling patient appointments via phone and chat in a healthcare setting
• Ability to navigate multiple systems in a remote environment
• Familiarity with Athena, Epic, Dash, Salesforce, or Genesys is a plus
