Job Summary

Providing exceptional support during evening, overnight, and weekend hours, the fully remote After Hours Patient Service Representative will manage patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and triage service needs while ensuring a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to patient calls and emails promptly and accurately
  • Schedule and verify patient appointments and insurance information, maintaining accurate electronic health records
  • Follow emergency protocols and escalate urgent matters to on-call staff or leadership as necessary
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or call center setting
  • At least 3 years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) healthcare required
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and DME billing codes
  • Experience with medical scheduling systems and insurance verification processes preferred
