After Hours Travel Advisor

Job Summary

Providing travel services for business travelers, the full-time After Hours Travel Advisor will arrange domestic and basic international travel accommodations while working remotely and ensuring high customer satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to determine travel needs and arrange all related services, including bookings for air, rail, car, and hotel accommodations
• Utilize the Global Distribution System (GDS) to compute costs and manage reservations, ensuring accuracy and quality control
• Assist customers with changes and special requests, maintaining strong relationships and adhering to organizational travel policies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Post-Secondary Education in Travel and Tourism preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of travel counselor experience or equivalent travel industry experience
• Proficiency in GDS and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
