After Hours Travel Advisor

Job Summary

Providing travel services for business travelers, the full-time After Hours Travel Advisor will arrange domestic and basic international travel, including air, ground transportation, and accommodations, while working remotely and requiring evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to determine travel needs and arrange all related services, including bookings and accommodations
• Utilize GDS and other booking tools to compute costs and manage reservations, ensuring quality control before ticketing
• Assist customers with travel changes and special requests, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in Travel and Tourism is preferred
• At least 3 years of travel counselor experience or equivalent travel industry experience is required for external applicants
• Proficiency in GDS and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
