Agency Relations Specialist

Job Summary

To support payroll tax compliance efforts, the full-time Agency Relations Specialist will manage relationships with tax agencies, ensuring adherence to regulations and facilitating effective communication and negotiations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with influencers and decision-makers in tax agency sectors
• Serve as a liaison and advocate, managing escalations and facilitating negotiations with tax agencies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards and manage compliance changes effectively

Required qualifications

• High School diploma
• 5+ years of related experience in tax, finance, or audit, preferably in an outsourced payroll or agency environment
• In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment related to federal, state, and local income tax and unemployment tax
• Associate's Degree preferred
