Agency Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a 2nd Lien / Agency Underwriter who will analyze the risk and compliance of residential mortgage loan applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete thorough analysis of loan applications and documentation to ensure compliance with guidelines
• Review resubmitted documentation and issue final loan decisions as necessary
• Respond to loan audits and maintain current knowledge of investor guidelines and policies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years recent experience underwriting credit and collateral to guidelines
• Current experience in an Underwriter position analyzing Agency and CES / HELOC Loans
• Intermediate level of computer skills in a Windows environment
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
