Agile Product Owner

Job Summary

To support the FAA's modernization efforts, the full-time Agile Product Owner will lead product planning, backlog management, and release coordination while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the CARES product roadmap in partnership with FAA stakeholders, aligning strategic priorities with Agile delivery objectives
• Own and maintain the product backlog, leading Agile ceremonies and ensuring development teams have the necessary context for delivery
• Facilitate collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders to drive alignment on product objectives and manage dependencies effectively

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role supporting Agile software development
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making without direct authority
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and/or SAFe
• Experience with Agile lifecycle management tools such as Jira and Confluence
