Agile Scrum Master
Job Summary
As a fully remote opportunity, the Agile Scrum Master will facilitate Agile execution for cross-functional software development teams, coach on Scrum best practices, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of secure, high-quality software.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the Scrum Master for Agile software development teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching on Agile principles
- Partner with the Product Owner to maintain a prioritized product backlog and align sprint execution with program milestones
- Identify and remove organizational and technical impediments to enhance team velocity and effectiveness
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, Lean principles, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and coach cross-functional technical teams
