Job Summary
To support the Water Quality Division, the part-time temporary Agricultural Conservation Mapping Technician will track and account for agricultural field conservation practices, review records for accuracy, and map data in a geospatial database while working both onsite and remotely between 20 and 30 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- File and track agricultural field practice implementation records submitted by farmers and partners
- Review records for completeness and accuracy, reaching out for further information as needed
- Map field practice implementation data in the Partner Database and compile information for reports and outreach materials
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent AND one year of office clerical experience
- OR completion of a vocational/technical training program in business, office administration, or a related area
- OR one year of full-time college-level study in accounting, business, or public administration
- OR one year of experience as an Administrative Services Technician I with the State of Vermont
- Experience working with the VISION system may be required for some positions
