Agriculture Reinsurance Analyst

Job Summary

Providing analytical and operational support to the Global Agriculture underwriting team, the full-time remote Agriculture Reinsurance Analyst will evaluate, price, and manage the global portfolio of agriculture reinsurance while collaborating with senior underwriters and finance partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Support underwriters in analyzing treaty reinsurance submissions and organizing relevant data
• Assist with pricing analyses, including gathering model inputs and running pricing tools
• Monitor and analyze commodities markets to inform underwriting and portfolio decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, agricultural economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in (re)insurance, financial analysis, or a related field
• Familiarity with USDA federal crop insurance programs, particularly LRP and DRP
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large data sets; familiarity with commodity market platforms is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
