Job Summary
Serving as a dedicated partner to a strategic healthcare client, the full-time remote AHIMA Certified Client Relationship Director will manage client relationships, oversee health information management and medical coding operations, and ensure alignment between client expectations and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for a designated healthcare client, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on priorities and outcomes
- Provide expertise in medical coding and oversee coding quality, productivity, and compliance with relevant guidelines
- Monitor key performance indicators and prepare client-facing reports with actionable insights and recommendations
Required Qualifications
- AHIMA Certification required (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCS-P)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Health Information Management (HIM) and/or medical coding
- Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles within healthcare or RCM environments
- Strong knowledge of inpatient and outpatient coding guidelines and compliance standards
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and performance discussions effectively
