AI Applications Engineer
Job Summary
To support the rapid development of AI-enabled clinical applications, the full-time AI Applications Engineer will design, develop, and optimize clinician-facing tools and workflows in a healthcare environment, collaborating closely with medical professionals and operational teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications and internal tools for the Cardiology AI Lab
- Rapidly prototype AI-enabled clinical workflows to enhance documentation, triage, and care coordination
- Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate workflow needs into technical requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Biomedical Informatics, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or a related technical role
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#
- Experience building software applications, APIs, or platform components
- Familiarity with databases, data models, SQL, and software development best practices
