AI Architect

Job Summary

To define and own the end-to-end technical architecture of a production Agentic AI platform, the remote contract AI Architect will set architectural standards, make critical design decisions, and collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the Agentic AI platform, including agent graph design, state management, and LLM integration strategy
• Define engineering standards and lead architecture reviews to ensure alignment with approved designs
• Evaluate frameworks and tools, and define the migration strategy to Azure Cloud while identifying architectural risks

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience; 4+ years in architecting production AI/ML or LLM platforms
• Deep expertise in Agentic AI architecture, including LangGraph and LangChain
• Experience with Azure architecture, including AKS, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native design patterns
• Proven ability to produce architecture documents and technical governance artifacts for enterprise engagements
• Familiarity with AI governance and regulatory compliance in regulated industries
